100% remote as long as they work EST

1 contract only position open until the end of the year 2023, could extend into 2024, but just say until end of year for now

This Sr. Tech PM will be overseeing 3 projects from March until Dec, the break down of the projects are below...

Project 1: HR DW expansions

25% of time– datamart

Starts in March - Nov

• Build upon the datamart, created some data analytics
• Adding additional fields and adding some data from ServiceNow
• Ceridian and Spyglass are the tools
• Solutions and infra architect, security person,
• Azure exp

2nd Project: Retire the old legacy system

50% of PM time

• A lot of research
• HR DRM – legacy was left in tackted – carry over project
• Both are waterfall
• Be able to manage the team / personalities
• DB2 old HR DW
• A lot of annalys
• DAPPER – old Oracle – tech enough to ask questions

Project 3: Agent Profit sharing

25%

• Run agile
• Starts in March – September
• Access Data base / Excel and rebuilding it
• SQL database
• Already have a good POC

• Implement a new customs sql database

POSITION OVERVIEW:

As a member of the team, you are expected to lead the execution and delivery of technology projects while collaborating with business partners to advance the organization. You are methodical, have excellent communication and time management skills – and can utilize those skills effectively across various business units. Ultimately, the Sr. IT Project Manager is responsible for managing a wide range of technology projects of varying complexity. With your solid blend of technical, and business facing skills, you will successfully partner with areas across the enterprise to lead delivery of projects in their area.

• Lead complex projects and has accountability for the estimating, planning, scheduling, tracking, management of risk, budget, change management, problem resolution, reporting and communicating
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously that may include application development, vendor-based software implementations, infrastructure changes, process development, tool selection or multiple combinations of each
• Have the ability to guide and direct team members and technical subject matter experts through design, development and deployment of solutions
• Have strong project plan management experience including work breakdown structures, milestones, dependencies and identification of critical path
• Manage project outcomes to ensure implementations are fit for use and purpose and support long term goals and objectives
• Manage interdependencies within their projects
• Provide transparency and reporting to overall governance and steering structure
• Lead the interaction with business partners, project team members, other IT colleagues, and external vendors to ensure clarity of the business problem, outcome and scope and ensures issues and risks are understood and resolved.
• Be responsible for building team alignment, encouraging team effort and successes, embracing continuous performance improvement through coaching, modeling the way, and developing followership through his/her daily interactions with the team.
• Manage the vendor outcome through active collaboration and feedback with Program Management and Vendor Management
• Solicits and applies standards and best practices as defined by the project management Center of Excellence (Coe) and the Project Management Office (PMO)
• Prior experience in Data and Analytics is a nice to have.

WHAT YOU NEED TO APPLY:

• 7+ Years of related experience with project & program delivery (Waterfall, Agile or Iterative, Hybrid)
• Bachelor's degree with a preference of technology/computer science field or equivalent work experience
• Familiarization with project management tools such as MS Project, Planview, Jira, or Leankit.
• Strong Business Acumen - Knowledge of P&C products preferred
• Strong relationship management skills – Ability to effectively collaborate with business & IT partners and to foster strong relationships with them to aid successful project delivery
• Strong ability to connect dots and build integrated plans that include business timelines for filings, intersecting IT project timelines and deliverables where dependencies exist, and outside project risks. Someone with an anticipatory mindset rather than a reactionary one.
