Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients to develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address specific needs and objectives.
• Maintain a reasonable patient caseload to ensure dedicated, quality interaction and optimal recovery outcomes for each individual.
• Apply your expertise in orthopedic outpatient care to guide patients through evidence-based therapeutic exercises and modalities.
• Promote non-surgical interventions and lifestyle changes to improve overall mobility and health, minimizing reliance on invasive procedures and medications.
• Create and adapt fitness and wellness programs tailored to patients' distinct health situations, promoting long-term wellness.
• Monitor and evaluate treatment effectiveness, making necessary adjustments to enhance patient progress.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient interactions and treatment regimens using EMR software, particularly WebPT.
• Foster a supportive and motivating environment that empowers patients throughout their rehabilitation journey.
• Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care and facilitate referrals when necessary.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy, with the completion of a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred.
• An active Physical Therapist license in Florida, free of sanctions or disciplinary actions.
• Demonstrated expertise in orthopedic manual therapy modalities and exercise program creation.
• Proficiency in using EMR software for accurate documentation.
• Up-to-date knowledge of the latest research and developments in physical therapy techniques and practices.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in an outpatient setting focused on physical rehabilitation and sports medicine.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills that enhance patient engagement and rehabilitation outcomes.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
