Radiology Technician

Job Overview TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Radiology Technologist for a 21‑week assignment in Boston, Massachusetts with 40 hours per week on 10‑hour shifts. Employment Type: Travel. Responsibilities Use diagnostic imaging equipment to capture accurate images for physicians. Prepare patients and perform patient care during radiologic testing. Confirm patient identification, review imaging requests, and explain procedures to patients. Follow physician orders regarding body area imaging. Correctly position patients and adjust equipment. Maintain radiation safety and prevent unnecessary exposure. Calibrate imaging equipment. Prepare results for physician review. Maintain accurate patient records. Use the McKesson PACS system. Requirements Minimum 1 year experience as a Radiology Technologist. BLS certification. ARRT (R) National Certification. State‑specific licensing as required. Ability to stand, walk, bend, lean or stoop for long periods. Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology.
