Home Care Aide

Job Summary:

Right at Home Scranton is seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Care Aides in the Wilkes-Barre area to join our team! As a Home Care Aide, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors and adults with disabilities by providing personal care and companionship services in their homes. Responsibilities and Duties:

Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and medication reminders
Provide companionship and social support to clients, engaging in activities such as reading, music, and puzzles
Assist with light housekeeping, laundry, and meal preparation
Accompany clients on errands and medical appointments
Perform other personal care activities as needed to assist clients with daily living tasks

Qualifications and Skills:

High school graduate or G.E.D. certificate preferred
Ability to lift/move 50 lbs without assistance
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English as needed for the job
Valid driver's license and current automobile insurance
Pass a background check
CNA license, Home Health Aide, or Personal Care Aide certification preferred
