Registered Nurse - Long Term Care
This is a 13-week contract position.
Varied shift scheduling of 8-hour shifts: Days 0730 - 1530, Evenings 1500 - 2330, and Nights 2300 - 0730. Shifts will include weekends and holidays, with overtime rotation possibly required. There is no guarantee of hours or shift preference.
This position involves working in a Long Term Care Facility located on the site of a hospital. As a Registered Nurse, you will perform various duties including assessments, treatments, medication administration, and notifications to the Medical Doctor or Nurse Practitioner regarding pertinent information. Your responsibilities will also include admitting and discharging patients, assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs), providing gastrostomy tube care, urinary catheter care, nebulizer treatments, wound vac care, CPAP care, and other assigned duties.
All candidates must possess an active Hawaii Registered Nurse license by the start of the assignment. Travelers without a current Hawaii license must apply for one upon acceptance of the job offer. Additionally, candidates must arrive the Thursday before the assignment start date to attend an employee health appointment on Friday.
