Our Argyle center proudly serves children from six weeks to five years of age, and we are currently seeking an experienced, credentialed leader to join our team as a Preschool Center Director.

As a Preschool Center Director at The Learning Experience, You Will:

1. Lead with passion, building trust and inclusivity with children, families, and employees alike.
2. Ensure the center maintains full compliance with Texas HHSC Child Care Regulation Minimum Standards across all age groups served, from infants through preschool, including medication administration, allergy management, incident reporting, food safety, and emergency preparedness.
3. Build and maintain a highly qualified staff through sourcing, training, and coaching.
4. Conduct regular staff performance evaluations, providing coaching and corrective action as needed, and manage disciplinary matters in coordination with the organization's HR partner.
5. Oversee staff scheduling to ensure ratio compliance at all times, including infant specific ratios.
6. Confirm all staff maintain required background clearances and certifications, in coordination with the organization's HR partner.
7. Maintain ongoing licensing renewal and inspection readiness for scheduled and unscheduled HHSC visits.
8. Guide teachers in implementing our proprietary curriculum, using our engaging characters to create a fun, enriching learning experience.
9. Drive business results through family retention, enrollment growth, and efficient operations, including accounts receivable and payable, monthly P and L reports, and payroll oversight.
10. Engage prospective families through center tours and community marketing events to drive enrollment.

Apply Now If You (Required):

• Have a minimum of 3 to 5 years of center leadership and management experience
• Hold the Texas CDA credential or equivalent statewide ECE certification
• Possess the state specific Administrative or Director credential, or an equivalent combination of education and experience as defined under 26 TAC §746.1015, as well as any other state specific guidelines for the role 
• Hold current CPR certification
• Hold current First Aid certification
• Hold current AED certification
• Hold a current Texas Certified Food Protection Manager certification
• Demonstrate strong, verifiable knowledge of Texas licensing rules and regulations
• Provide a documented, verifiable compliance history through HHSC Child Care Regulation licensing records showing no substantiated violations
• Must be at least 21 years of age

Preferred:

• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Business Administration, or a related field
