We serve homeowners and businesses throughout Whatcom County with professional repair, maintenance, and improvement services. This position is ideal for an experienced handyman who takes pride in quality workmanship, communicates well with customers, and can confidently complete a variety of residential projects. Responsibilities Complete home repairs, maintenance, and improvement projects Perform carpentry, drywall repair, painting, trim work, and door installation Repair decks, fences, siding, and other exterior features Diagnose problems and recommend appropriate repair solutions Estimate the labor time and materials needed for projects Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area Communicate professionally with customers and office staff Document project progress and completed work Arrive on time and provide excellent customer service Qualifications At least 2-3 years of professional construction, remodeling, maintenance, or handyman experience preferred Broad knowledge of residential repairs and home improvement Strong carpentry and general repair skills Ability to work independently and make sound decisions on the job Professional appearance and positive attitude Excellent communication and customer-service skills Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation Ability to safely use ladders, power tools, and standard construction equipment Ability to lift and carry materials commonly used on residential projects Must be dependable and able to pass applicable background and driving requirements What We’re Looking For The right candidate will be: Honest, dependable, and professional Skilled in several different trades Detail-oriented and committed to quality Comfortable communicating directly with customers Able to accurately assess projects and manage their time Willing to help build a positive and supportive team environment Why Join Ace Handyman Services? Compensation: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour The 800+ Craftsmen who represent our Brand are the heart and soul of our turn-key, white-glove home repair, maintenance, and improvement service. They are skilled and experienced in many trades, but their professionalism and attention to detail is what sets them apart from others who work in the industry. Most of the projects completed are for Repeat and Referral Customers—folks truly appreciate our high level of service, and they often request additional work by asking for particular Craftsmen by name.
