Key Responsibilities of the RN - ER/ED

• Provide critical care to patients in the emergency department
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Administer emergency medications and treatments as per protocol
• Utilize emergency/trauma equipment and EMR systems efficiently
• Maintain patient safety and confidentiality at all times

Requirements of the RN - ER/ED

• Valid Texas RN licensure or eligibility for compact license
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications
• SAMA, CPI, or equivalent certification (with a 30-day grace period for completion)
• Experience in certified chest pain, comprehensive stroke, Level 1 trauma, and accredited burn procedures
