Position Summary: We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Hospital Concierge-HCC 9 Inpatient Complex Rehab-Evening Shift (35 Hours). In this role, the successful candidate supports the patient care activities of the nursing unit through maintenance of patient records, supplies, and the environment; coordinates activities with unit staff and other departments; demonstrates clear, concise, accurate and timely communications with members of the health care team, patients families and visitors; incorporates NYU Core Values in all aspects of job performance.

Job Responsibilities:

• Support the patient care activities of the nursing unit through timely greeting and check-in of arriving patients;
• Coordinates activities with unit staff and other departments
• Demonstrates clear, concise, accurate and timely communications with members of the health care team, patients, families and visitors.
• Performs service functions including, but not limited to triaging/ answering calls/
• Assisting with concerns and use of MyWall.
• Works under direct supervision; incorporates NYULH Core Values in all aspects of job performance.

Minimum Qualifications: To qualify you must have a High school diploma or the equivalent. Competence: Computer literacy including but not limited to keyboard facility, data entry, knowledge of email, use of hospital intranet, multiple telephone line experience and etiquette. Evidence of excellent interpersonal skills, effective communication skills both in person and on the telephone, and creative problem solving.

Preferred Qualifications: Clerical, customer service, communications-related experience desirable. Bilingual desirable.

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $61,078.01 - $61,078.01 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
