This flexible, part-time opportunity is perfect for a dedicated professional eager to collaborate across school settings and provide vital support to students and staff. Working near beautiful Encinitas, CA, you’ll contribute your expertise throughout the full academic year, from an immediate start through May 31, 2027.

Position Details:

• Schedule: 2 days per week
• Term: ASAP start with commitment through the entire school year (August 17 - May 31, 2027)
• Caseload: K-12 students, offering variety and broad impact

What You'll Bring:

• Valid Physical Therapist licensure required
• Prior experience in school-based settings or with pediatric populations is strongly preferred
• Strong skills in assessment, consultation, and individual/group therapy
• Ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including participation in IEP meetings
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities
• Proficiency in documentation and report writing

Your Responsibilities:

• Conduct physical therapy evaluations and ongoing assessments for K-12 students
• Develop and implement customized treatment plans based on individual student needs
• Provide direct therapy services and consult with teachers, staff, and families regarding student progress
• Attend and contribute to IEP meetings as a vital team member
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation and reports
• Communicate effectively with students, families, and school staff to support student success
