Job Description:

* Are you ready to make a difference in patient care? Join a dynamic team as a Clinical Pharmacist I!

* Shift Availability:
- Varying shifts:
- 6:00am - 2:30pm
- 7:00am - 3:30pm
- 8:00am - 4:30pm
- 11:00am - 7:00pm
- 3:00pm - 11:00pm

* Weekend Commitment:
- Every other weekend
- 2 x 10-hour shifts

* On Call Requirement:
- No call duty

* Dress Code:
- Pewter scrubs

Key Responsibilities:

* Provide exceptional pharmacy services with compassion, excellence, and efficiency.

* Operational Duties:
- Accurately fill drug orders and monitor patient drug therapies.
- Compound and dispense pharmaceuticals, including sterile products.
- Ensure timely service while maintaining accurate patient drug records.
- Supervise and direct pharmacy support staff effectively.

* Clinical Duties:
- Ensure safe and cost-effective drug therapies for patients.
- Monitor drug therapy regimens for interactions and appropriateness.
- Conduct clinical consultations and provide education to patients and families.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and interdisciplinary rounds.

Requirements:

* Graduate of an ACPE accredited School of Pharmacy with:
- Doctor of Pharmacy (preferred)
- BS Pharmacy (accepted)

* Must possess state licensure (LA LICENSE REQUIRED).

* Hospital experience preferred.

* Certification in BLS or ACLS via AHA required.
