We’re looking for a skilled and empathetic therapist to join our team and make a meaningful impact in the lives of those we serve.

As a therapist at Thundermaker Wellness Center, you’ll work closely with American Indian and Alaska Native individuals facing challenges such as substance use, psychiatric diagnoses, and trauma. Your expertise and cultural competency will play a vital role in creating a safe, supportive environment for our clients. • Provide therapeutic services to clients with substance use, psychiatric diagnoses, and trauma histories.
• Utilize your specialized training (such as SE, brainspotting, neurofeedback or other modalities) to enhance client care.
• Foster a culturally competent, inclusive environment that supports diverse client needs.
• Conduct assessment, measurement tools, and safety assessments.
• Write treatment plans in collaboration with psychiatric provider.
• Complete discharge planning and discharges according to company policy.
• Attend staff meetings for interdisciplinary collaboration and client success.
• Complete documentation within 24 hours of services provided.
• Maintain caseload and appointments within scheduled time.
• Saturday only necessary if caseload is not seen within week day hours.
• Maintain accurate records and adhere to professional and ethical standards.
• Assist in development of curriculum and ongoing revision, ensuring adherence to best practice and improved outcomes.

• Experience: At least 1 year of experience in a therapeutic role.
• Licensure: Associate or independently licensed.
• Fingerprint Clearance Card: Required for this position.
• Specialized Training: Certification in SE, brainspotting, neurofeedback or other therapeutic specialties is preferred.
• Cultural Competency: A strong understanding and respect for diverse cultural backgrounds.
• Preferred Applicants: American Indian and Alaskan Native individuals are encouraged to apply. Although, all applicants will be considered.
