AEG Equipment Engineering Manager

Position Summary: Direct and manage Equipment group in the new model function with overall responsibility for equipment/cell development and installation. This is an

on-site position. 

Position Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership and training to develop and manage equipment engineering team.
• Develops and reviews process plans for the welding and assembly process for new model launches.
• Coordinate and schedule procurement of equipment.
• Plan and manage investment budget for the equipment purchases.
• Support installation of equipment, review and apply best manufacturing processes.
• Support all departmental and company business plan goals and objectives.
• Other duties and responsibilities as required.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Technical Degree in Engineering Preferred
• 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
• Experience managing people in a fast paced environment
• Experience in manufacturing equipment and process development
• Excellent organizational, communication, coordination and computer skills
• Able to travel and work flexible hours

Work Environment:

• Work is done in office and plant environments.  

Compensation package includes bonus potential, car and cell phone allowances. We offer excellent benefits (Medical, dental and vision as little as $8 per week for all), including generous Paid Time Off, 401k with employer match, and 100% paid uniforms. Must be able to pass a post- offer drug screen as well as a criminal background check.
