LPN - Discharge Lounge

This position is for an LPN in the Discharge Lounge. The shift hours are 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM, four days a week, including Thursday and Friday. The other days can be negotiated. Weekend work is required every other weekend. Must be able to work every other holiday if needed. No pending licenses will be accepted. The LPN will be responsible for vital signs, pain assessment, intake/output monitoring, and isolation precautions. The role includes administering medications, IV therapy with pumps, blood glucose monitoring, and wound care basics. You will manage feeding tubes and provide care related to oxygen administration. Strong communication skills are essential for reporting status changes to the RN or MD. Patient ratios are 1:5-6 during the day. Floating within the skill set may be required. The unit cares for medical patients with various conditions. Candidates must demonstrate essential clinical skills and experience. This position involves working in a collaborative, patient-focused environment.
