Title Senior Therapeutic Area Specialist, Therapeutic Area Neuroscience – Cobenfy Location Omaha, NE; Lincoln, NE/Council Bluffs, IA Summary The Therapeutic Area Specialist (TAS) is a critical field-based role within BMS\'s customer model, driving adoption of medicines and delivering impactful engagement with HCPs. The TAS spends 100% of time in the field with external customers. Responsibilities Drive demand for BMS medicines within the portfolio for appropriate patients, delivering a differentiated Customer Experience (Cx) through deeper scientific dialogue aligned with the label and CE^3. Build and maintain professional credibility with regional thought leaders and community-based physicians/HCPs in private practice and medical groups, serving as the primary point of contact. Liaise with other BMS functions to deliver an elevated Cx by meeting HCP needs in a timely and scientific manner; prioritize safe and appropriate use of BMS products while aligning with business results and BMS values. Portfolio Promotion Promote approved indications within a defined territory to meet or exceed sales targets in a compliant manner. Create demand by articulating the clinical and scientific rationale for product use in appropriate patients. Maintain/grow high-level scientific expertise across assigned products and therapeutic areas. Prepare and implement comprehensive territory and account plans. Leverage CE^3 and other tools to derive insights and inform call plans; provide feedback to leadership for continuous improvement. Scientific Dialogue Demonstrate scientific expertise and ensure medical accuracy when presenting information to HCPs. Conduct in-office presentations and discuss product-related scientific information consistent with the label. Organize external speaker programs and manage scheduling and logistics with approved speakers. Maintain knowledge of emerging data for approved indications. Engage real-time medical support through Medical on Call to address unsolicited questions and complex inquiries. Cross-Functional Collaboration Collaborate with field teams to ensure the best Cx for HCPs. Share relevant insights with internal stakeholders to enhance service to customers. Comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and policies. Qualifications Advanced scientific degree and/or 5+ years of pharmaceutical/biotechnology experience in healthcare sales, MSL, HCP, or nursing. Experience in Psychiatry is preferred. Ability to communicate scientific/clinical data accurately to help physicians serve patients. Proven credibility with key customers and a customer-centric mindset to create a differentiated Cx. Strong account management, sales performance, and cross-functional collaboration skills. Positive team mindset and proactive attitude. Compensation & Benefits The compensation range is US $133,600 – $161,916, with potential incentive cash and stock opportunities based on eligibility.
