Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This contract opportunity offers the chance to work primarily onsite in or around the Emporia, KS area, serving a diverse caseload and collaborating closely with school teams. With a standard academic year schedule, enjoy consistency and meaningful professional relationships with staff and students alike.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid Kansas School Psychologist license required
  • Experience working with K-12 student populations preferred
  • Strong skills in assessment, crisis intervention, and consultation
  • Ability to communicate effectively with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Flexibility to serve multiple schools within a 20-minute radius of Emporia

Position Details:

  • Academic year contract: August 20, 2026 – May 20, 2027
  • Full-time; 37.5 hours per week
  • Single assignment serving K-12 students; caseload may span Emporia and neighboring districts (all within local driving distance)
  • Role is fully onsite, working directly with students, teachers, and administrative staff

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychoeducational assessments and interpret results for IEP and eligibility meetings
  • Provide individual and group counseling/mental health supports as aligned with student needs
  • Develop and implement evidence-based interventions
  • Collaborate with educators and families on strategies to support student success inside and outside the classroom
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and provide professional insight on student development and behavior
  • Support crisis management and prevention initiatives within the assigned schools
