Cardiovascular Registered Nurse - Cath Lab
Location: Richmond, VA
Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule: 08:00 AM - 06:30 PM
Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Cardiovascular Registered Nurse to join our Cath Lab team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in interventional cardiac procedures and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. You will work alongside a dedicated team of RNs and cardiovascular technologists to provide exceptional patient care during diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in performing diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations.
- Manage patient care during complex PCIs and associated procedures.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality care.
- Monitor patient progress and respond appropriately to changes in condition.
- Participate in on-call rotations and weekend shifts as required.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- Active RN license.
- Certification in RCIS or RT is required.
- Experience working in an interventional cardiac cath lab is a must.
- Preferred: Experience with complex cases and high-volume labs.
