About the Position

Job Title: RN Float Pool Med Surg Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Med Surg Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Days Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 1+ years License: Registered Nurse Certifications: BLS, NRP Must-Have Skills/Experience: Excellent communication skills are required. Analytical and organizational skills are essential. The Registered Nurse must be familiar with a variety of concepts, practices, and procedures in the field. Acts as Charge RN if one is unavailable. Description: Float Pool Med Surg position available. Number of beds on the unit is unspecified. Patient ratios are 1:5. Must float as needed; this requirement is non-negotiable. Equipment includes EMR. Type of patients on the unit includes post-cardiac surgery, cardiac, and general medical patients. Personality fit should be patient-focused and a team player.
