Substitute Custodians

Fort Lee Public Schools is seeking substitute custodians. The substitute custodian shall perform routine cleaning and maintenance of school facilities to ensure a safe, clean, and orderly environment for students, staff, and visitors. The substitute custodian follows established procedures and responds to building needs as assigned.

Qualifications: Minimum high school diploma or equivalent. Ability to communicate effectively with students and staff members, both verbally and in writing. Must be reliable and of good moral character. Must meet criminal background check. Cleaning experience preferred. Must be in good physical condition and able to lift heavy objects. Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the board may find appropriate and acceptable.

Working conditions: Called in on an as needed basis. Salary: $20.00 per hour. Position start date: As soon as possible.
