This role involves providing patient care on a general medical-surgical unit, requiring strong experience in renal and urology specialties. The position is scheduled for nights, with a start date of November 9, 2026, and ends on February 8, 2027, offering a dynamic environment for experienced healthcare professionals. Job Details Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: Active Iowa or Iowa multistate nursing license, 24 months of current Med Surg / Medical Surgical experience, BLS certification, and a minimum of 24 months of related work history. Schedule: Night shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week. Required Qualifications: Minimum 24 months of recent Med Surg / Medical Surgical experience in a hospital or medical center setting, proficiency with EPIC electronic medical records, experience with renal and urology care, at least one travel contract completed within the previous 15 months, and a valid drivers license. Preferred Qualifications: Past or current experience in level I trauma settings, high proficiency in renal and urology care. Additional Information: This role requires float across multiple campuses; candidates must be able to work 1-2 of the upcoming Winter holidays, including Thanksgiving. The unit has a 1:5-6 nurse-to-patient ratio, and the candidate must be able to work in Navy Blue scrubs. Submission of performance evaluations or references from within the past 24 months is preferred.
