Systems Engineer –Strategic Weapons Control Location: Pittsfield, MA Pay: Up to $49/hour Work Type: Onsite (Hybrid Flex: 1–2 days remote) Schedule: 9/80 Work Schedule Clearance: Ability to Obtain Secret Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required) Overview Seeking a Systems Engineer to support the modernization of strategic weapons control systems. This role involves requirements management, system integration, verification & validation, and cross-functional engineering collaboration on mission‑critical defense programs. Key Responsibilities Support development and modernization of strategic weapons systems Perform requirements analysis, documentation, and management Support system integration, testing, verification, and validation (V&V) Assist with hardware/software integration and troubleshooting Generate technical reports, test documentation, and design review packages Collaborate across engineering disciplines and program teams Participate in design reviews and customer interactions Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering or related STEM field 2+ years of relevant experience (or Master’s with 6+ months) Understanding of systems engineering principles and lifecycle Strong communication, analytical, and problem‑solving skills Ability to work in a collaborative, cross‑functional environment Preferred Skills Experience with Fire Control Systems (FCS) Experience with requirements management and system modeling tools Background in hardware/software integration and testing Experience in defense or aerospace systems Familiarity with AI-enabled engineering tools Why Join CPI?
