Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Telemetry unit serving a large cardiac population across Telemetry and Progressive Care Unit (PCU) floors
• Monitor and interpret telemetry readings, responding appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Perform and assist with procedures relevant to acute care telemetry, including care for patients with varied acute and chronic medical conditions
• Collaborate with RNs and CNAs across units, maintaining a 1:5 patient ratio on day shift
• Float to inpatient Medical/Telemetry and Rehabilitation units as needed
• Document patient care accurately using Meditech/CPN EMR system

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 1 year of current acute care Telemetry hospital experience
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Willingness and ability to float to multiple inpatient units
• Strong team-player mindset with demonstrated compassion in patient care

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Strong, well-rounded Telemetry experience beyond the minimum requirement
• Chemotherapy (Chemo) Certification – candidates with this credential may have the opportunity to work on the Oncology unit
• Experience with Meditech or comparable EMR systems
