Louisiana Licensed Nurse Practitioner

Providing compassionate telephonic care, the part-time Louisiana Licensed Nurse Practitioner will deliver after-hours support to aging residents across multiple states, managing high call volumes and conducting telehealth visits to address acute and chronic health needs. Key responsibilities Serve as the first line of support for residents and facility staff after-hours, offering medical care and direction over the phone Utilize Curana's telephonic platform to coordinate care between facilities, hospitals, and clinics while documenting encounters in the EMR Deliver high-quality, cost-effective care in collaboration with physicians and specialty providers, applying clinical protocols and practice guidelines Required qualifications Master's Degree as a Nurse Practitioner Active, unrestricted licensure in Louisiana; additional licenses in other states preferred Nurse Practitioner national certification as ANP, FNP, or GNP 3+ years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner with a background in acute and chronic disease management Proficient computer skills, including documentation in written and electronic medical records
