Help Create an Event People Enjoy Attending
A warm welcome, clear directions, and someone ready to answer a question can make a real difference to an event. If you enjoy interacting with people and keeping the practical details organized, you could bring a lot to this role.
We’re hiring an Event Coordinator in Cincinnati to support event preparation and delivery, with a strong focus on attendee experience. You’ll coordinate arrangements with colleagues and venue contacts, then stay involved during the event—welcoming guests, answering questions, and helping activities run to plan.
Before Guests Arrive and While They’re Here
- Coordinate event schedules, checklists, and preparation deadlines.
- Confirm arrangements with venues, suppliers, and team members.
- Prepare signage, attendee information, materials, and event resources.
- Support setup and check that guest areas are ready and clearly organized.
- Welcome attendees, explain planned activities, and respond to routine questions.
- Communicate timing changes and help colleagues resolve practical event-day issues.
- Gather guest feedback, support pack-down, and document follow-up actions.
Your People Skills Can Transfer
Experience in events is helpful, but we also welcome backgrounds in Cincinnati restaurants, hotels, retail, reception, and other guest-facing workplaces. You may have handled group bookings, welcomed visitors, coordinated a busy shift, or helped organize a community event.
Relevant volunteering, student activities, and personal projects are also worth telling us about. A specific degree isn’t required.
You’ll fit well if you:
- Enjoy speaking with new people and listening to what they need.
- Keep track of arrangements and follow through on commitments.
- Stay professional and approachable when activity gets busy.
- Communicate changes clearly and work cooperatively.
- Can use email, calendars, and basic spreadsheets.
- Can reliably commute to our Cincinnati workplace and local event venues.
Develop Your Event Coordination Skills
You’ll build practical experience in scheduling, venue communication, event logistics, and guest support. You’ll see how preparation affects the attendee experience and use feedback to suggest improvements for future events.
Good performance means the team knows the plan, guests receive useful assistance, and outstanding details get the attention they need.
Event locations and any evening or weekend requirements will be discussed during recruitment.
Apply through LinkedIn with your current resume , highlighting an activity you’ve helped organize or a role where you supported guests.
Equal Opportunity Employer. Reasonable accommodation is available during the recruitment process.
