Shipper Functional area: Supply Chain & Sourcing Onsite or Remote: Onsite Country/Region: US Location: Delhi, IA, US, 52223 Company name: Epiroc Work Type (Onsite): This position will be based onsite at our Delhi, IA facility. Shift Timings: 1st Shift Referral Bonus Available Sign-On Bonus Available: This position is eligible for a sign-on bonus, payable to new hires who meet the program’s eligibility criteria. Details will be provided during the interview process. Responsibilities Prepare, pack, and process outgoing shipments according to company and customer requirements. Verify shipment contents against orders and documentation to ensure accuracy. Label and document materials for transport (e.g., bills of lading, shipping orders). Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely. Coordinate with carriers for timely pickups and deliveries. Maintain inventory records and update shipping logs. Assist with general warehouse duties, including organizing storage areas and loading/unloading trucks. Knowledge and Education High school diploma or equivalent. Experience in shipping, receiving, or logistics (preferably in a manufacturing setting). Must be certified or willing to be trained and certified in forklift operation. Demonstrates excellent customer service abilities and a collaborative mindset. Thrives in team-oriented environments and actively contributes to internal initiatives. Skills and Abilities Highly detail-oriented, self-motivated, and capable of meeting tight deadlines. Strong written and verbal communication skills, paired with effective organizational abilities. Basic math and computer skills (e.g., shipping software, inventory systems). Ability to lift and move heavy items (up to 60 lbs) and work in a fast-paced environment.
