About the Role

Haven’s Harvest is seeking a reliable, mission-driven Weekend Driver & Dispatcher to support our food recovery operations. This is a hands-on role at the intersection of sustainability and food access—perfect for someone who wants to make a direct, tangible impact in their community.

Schedule

• Saturdays: approximately 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM (with some flexibility)
• Occasional Sundays as needed
• Additional weekday hours may be available based on organizational needs and candidate interest

Responsibilities

• Pick up and transport recovered food from donors to community partners
• Assist with dispatching and coordinating food recovery runs
• Use our app to manage pickups and deliveries in real time
• Support organization and workflow within the warehouse as needed

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (5+ years)
• Comfortable driving a van or small non-CDL box truck
• Ability to lift and carry food trays and boxes
• Tech-comfortable and willing to learn our app-based system
• Reliable, punctual, and a strong communicator
• Passion for sustainability, food access, and community impact
