YTH Director / Pastor STUDENTS · YOUNG ADULTS · GUEST EXPERIENCE · LEADERSHIP We’re looking for a next-gen leader to disciple our students and young adults, own the Sunday guest experience, and lead spiritually, so people across the Valley find peace and develop purpose by revolving everything around Jesus. About Orbit Orbit Church is a young, portable church plant in Buckeye, Arizona (Phoenix Metro). We set up every week, gather for two Sunday services (9:00 & 10:45 AM), and exist so people will find peace and develop purpose by revolving everything around Jesus. We’re growing consistently, we lead with warmth, and we believe in moving forward to the new thing God is doing, not getting stuck in old mercies. The next generation is the future of the church. This is a build role for a leader who wants to shape a ministry, not just inherit one.

Students and young adults who actually know Jesus and form into leaders. First‑time guests who feel like they belong. A church that communicates and shepherds with clarity, warmth, and consistency.

WHAT YOU’LL OWN

YTH. Lead the weekly youth gathering building a discipleship and leadership pipeline for junior high and high school. Young Adults. Pastor and grow a thriving young adults community. Sunday Guest Experience. Own guest experience teams across both services so every guest feels welcomed and able to find a clear next step. Leaders & Care. Equip God’s people for the work he has called them to by making disciples, developing leaders and shepherding your areas well.

Spiritually mature and character‑tested Deeply relational – Organized and self‑starting A builder of people and systems A clear communicator Thrives in a portable church A growing follower of Jesus whose character matches the leadership Scripture describes (1 Timothy 3; Titus 1): above reproach, self‑controlled, hospitable, able to teach. In full alignment with Orbit’s values and beliefs (orbitchurch.org/values-and-beliefs). Relationally gifted. Students, young adults, parents, and guests all feel known around you. Organized and self‑starting. You build systems, hit deadlines, and don’t need to be chased. A strong communicator, comfortable creating content and speaking to a room. Energized (not drained) by a portable church that sets up and tears down every week. The Essentials STATUS: Full‑time, salaried. REPORTS TO: Lead Pastor. LOCATION: Buckeye, AZ · Portable.
