P2P Vendor Onboarding & Supplier Master Data Management Lead

We are seeking an experienced PTP Vendor Onboarding & Supplier Master Data Management Lead to drive the enterprise strategy, governance, and execution of vendor onboarding and supplier master data management across the organization. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end vendor lifecycle—from onboarding and maintenance to offboarding—while ensuring data integrity, regulatory compliance, operational excellence, and alignment with Procure-to-Pay (PTP) objectives. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Oracle Fusion, supplier master data governance, and cross-functional stakeholder management.

• Contract Duration: 6+ Months

• Rate Range: $48–58/hr on W2

Responsibilities:

Strategy & Leadership

• Define and execute the enterprise vendor onboarding and supplier master data strategy aligned with Source-to-Pay objectives.

• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team with clear performance goals and career development plans.

• Serve as the executive point of contact for vendor onboarding initiatives, system implementations, and go-live activities.

• Establish governance frameworks, policies, standards, and controls to ensure operational excellence and compliance.

• Drive continuous process optimization and cross-functional alignment across Procurement, Finance, Legal, HR, Tax, Compliance, and Technology teams.

Vendor Onboarding & Lifecycle Management

• Manage the complete vendor lifecycle, including onboarding, maintenance, updates, and offboarding.

• Oversee vendor identification, documentation collection, compliance validation, approval workflows, contract finalization, and ERP activation.

• Ensure accurate supplier master data, including payment terms, banking details, tax documentation, and contact information.

• Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for vendor onboarding and offboarding.

• Establish and enforce onboarding controls covering W-9, W-8, 1099 documentation, TIN matching, OFAC screening, and compliance validation.

• Partner with enterprise stakeholders to improve onboarding processes and vendor management practices.

Supplier Master Data Management

• Maintain supplier master data integrity across Oracle Fusion ERP, procurement platforms, and third-party applications.

• Collaborate with technology teams on data mapping, migration, system integrations, and data quality initiatives.

• Define and enforce data governance standards, duplicate prevention, maker-checker workflows, and audit controls.

• Ensure accurate supplier data synchronization across enterprise systems.

Risk, Compliance & Audit

• Ensure compliance with SOX controls, internal policies, audit requirements, and payment governance.

• Lead third-party risk management activities, including due diligence, onboarding, monitoring, annual reviews, and vendor offboarding.

• Conduct supplier risk assessments and apply appropriate governance based on risk profiles.

• Maintain documentation supporting audit readiness and regulatory compliance.

Performance & Continuous Improvement

• Define and monitor KPIs including onboarding cycle times, data quality, compliance metrics, and vendor satisfaction.

• Develop executive dashboards and reporting for leadership.

• Identify process inefficiencies, automation opportunities, and governance improvements.

• Design and deliver training programs for internal teams and business users.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

• 8–10+ years of experience in Vendor Onboarding, Procure-to-Pay (PTP), Supplier Master Data Management, or Procurement Operations.

• Minimum 3 years of leadership experience managing enterprise teams.

• Hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion ERP or comparable enterprise ERP platforms.

• Strong expertise in supplier master data governance, data quality, and enterprise data management.

• Experience managing senior-level cross-functional stakeholders.

• Deep understanding of SOX compliance, internal controls, and audit processes.

• Proven experience supporting ERP implementations, system migrations, or enterprise go-live initiatives.

• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.

• Experience with Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM) frameworks.

• Experience with supplier onboarding automation platforms, supplier portals, or MDM solutions.

• Knowledge of tax and banking compliance documentation.

• Experience working in Media, Entertainment, or other large enterprise organizations.

• Experience within Global Business Services (GBS) or Shared Services environments.
