Power BI Developer

Power BI Developer Employment Type: Full-Time, Mid-level Department: Information Technology CGS is seeking a Power BI Developer to support a wide-ranging technical support initiative for a large Federal agency. The role involves building and maintaining Power BI solutions, collaborating with business stakeholders, and ensuring data security and compliance. Responsibilities Build Data Analytics enterprise models using Microsoft’s Power BI Develop tabular, multidimensional, and self‑service models compatible with warehouse standards Develop, publish, and schedule reports and dashboards to meet business requirements Assist business users with functional and data requirements to enhance data models Analyze and prototype solution designs that meet business needs Maintain data security according to Data Analytics application security layer models Work with Microsoft Azure platform services (Power BI, Flow, Cortana, etc.) Manage data integration, self‑service data preparation, and data gateway operations Collaborate with Government personnel at the CTO or SES level as required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science or related field 2‑4 years of development experience in Data Analytics technologies Knowledge of Microsoft enterprise cloud technologies such as Dynamics 365 CRM, Office 365, Microsoft Azure Strong experience in SQL and RDBMS technologies Experience with Agile project deliveries and tight time‑scales Web API experience Knowledge of Azure DevOps (VSTS) ETL, SSAS, SSIS, and SSRS Reporting experience Preferred Experience with Government software development policies and procedures Client‑facing communication experience Federal Agency issued security clearance Benefits Health, Dental, and Vision coverage Life Insurance 401k retirement plan Flexible Spending Account (Health, Dependent Care, and Commuter) Paid Time Off and observance of State/Federal Holidays Salary #CJ$104,832 - $142,272 a year Contact Government Services, LLC is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
