Finance Intern
We are looking for a college student to support our Finance team. We will complete any required documentation or paperwork to earn internship credit for school. What You Will Be Doing
- Support Cvent's Accounting team
- Enter manual invoices into Great Plains accounting system
- Review & process daily invoices and expenses
- Maintain communication with vendors
- Answer employee inquiries regarding expenses
- Prepare monthly journal entries and reconciliations for the month end close
- Assist in processing weekly check runs
- Filing of checks, invoices, and expenses
- Other duties as assigned
What You Need for this Position
- The ideal candidate will be able to work 20-25 hours per week during the school year, if possible.
- Currently enrolled in Accounting or Finance courses, working toward a Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
- Capable of using MS Office including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Able to drive or commute to Cvent's offices in McLean, VA
- Prior office experience preferred (but not required)
