Overview Position: OR Tech - Surgical Tech Salary Range: $1,344.00 - $1,728.00 per week (base gross), based on a 40-hour (5x8-hour) schedule; equivalent to $33.60 – $43.20 per hour. Assignment Length: 12 weeks Shifts Available: Full Time - Variable Location: Redding, CA Responsibilities Join a high-performing surgical tech team. Seek an experienced Travel OR Tech for a 12-week assignment in a fast-paced perioperative/operating room setting. Prepare and organize sterile supplies and instruments for assigned surgical procedures. Maintain the sterile field throughout each case. Assist the surgeon by anticipating needs and handing sterile instruments and supplies during procedures. Qualifications High School Diploma or Equivalent or related experience required for new hires effective April 2014. Graduate of an ORT training program or on-the-job training with a minimum of 3 years experience (surgical setting preferred). Experience in scrubbing minor and major procedures in the generalized surgical specialties (i.e., GYN, General, Plastics). Experience in scrubbing at least minor procedures in the specialty surgical areas (i.e., ortho, neuro, ENT, Uro, etc.). Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current. Minimum one (1) year of OR Tech experience required. Pay Transparency The estimated compensation for this role is $33.60 to $43.20 per hour, specific to California. The exact starting compensation will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, considering factors such as skillset, years of experience, education, credentials, and licensure.
