Your primary responsibilities will include:* Assisting residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming* Providing light housekeeping and laundry services to maintain a clean and comfortable environment* Assisting with meal preparation and serving residents* Monitoring residents' vital signs and reporting any changes to the healthcare team* Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of resident care and services**Additional Responsibilities:*** Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans* Provide emotional support and companionship to residents* Participate in resident activities and recreational programs* Maintain a safe and clean environment by following infection control protocols and reporting any concerns to the supervisor**Requirements:*** High school diploma or equivalent required* Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification or certification as a Geriatric Nurse Assistant (GNA)* 1+ year of experience as a CNA or GNA in a long-term care setting* Ability to lift, transfer, and reposition residents as needed* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills**Work Environment:**Autumn Lake Healthcare at Alice Manor is a 24-hour, 7-day-a-week facility that offers a supportive and collaborative work environment.
