About Us - Orthopedics Located on the fourth floor of the Tower at Freeman Hospital West, a 29-bed unit providing post-operative care to adult patients following orthopedic trauma, head injury, and scheduled joint or spine surgery. We provide a patient-centered approach to helping patients return to their best by coordinating efforts with our therapy team to help ensure a successful recovery. Our focus is on building a team-centered work environment where compassion is key, patient safety is paramount, and you will have the ability to make a difference in the lives of your patients and their families.

What You'll Do

Under the direction/supervision of a nurse, provides basic nursing care needs for assigned patients.

Requirements:

• Currently enrolled in RN nursing program and beginning final semester of nursing school.
• Must successfully pass patient care orientation (PCO) within 30 days of hire.
• AHA BLS for healthcare providers within 60 days.
• NT competency day annually by transcript due date.
