Registered Nurse - Med/Surg Unit

Location: Nashville, TN

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, three 12-hour shifts per week including two weekends per four-week schedule.

Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for our Med/Surg Unit, providing attentive and compassionate care to patients and their families. You will play a key role in delivering quality nursing care and ensuring patient satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care in a Neuro Med/Surg setting.
• Conduct bedside shift reports and make personal connections with patients and families.
• Manage a patient ratio of 6:1, prioritizing care effectively.
• Administer IVs, perform basic wound care, and maintain surgical drains, NG tubes, and chest tubes.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Active RN license.
• BLS certification.
• Med/Surg experience with the ability to multitask and prioritize care.
