Job Description
You will inspect metal stamped parts by loading them into a CMM, running the appropriate programs, and comparing results to blueprints, as well as performing manual measurements with precision tools to verify that parts meet quality standards.
Responsibilities

• Perform detailed quality inspections on metal stamped and fabricated parts using micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other precision measuring tools.
• Compare measured dimensions to blueprint specifications to verify compliance with quality requirements.
• Identify nonconforming parts and communicate findings clearly to production and leadership teams.
• Document inspection results accurately and maintain organized records to support quality control and traceability.
• Support continuous improvement efforts by reporting recurring quality issues and suggesting opportunities to enhance inspection processes.
• Work collaboratively with the leadership team and production staff to ensure consistent adherence to quality standards.
• Handle and inspect large metal parts produced by presses up to 3,000 tons, following all safety and quality procedures.
• Maintain a clean and orderly inspection area and ensure measuring tools and equipment are properly cared for and calibrated as required.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of MOUNT STERLING, KY.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $15.50 - $16.50/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
