Custodial Opportunity With Monticello SchoolsCentrally located on Interstate 94 less than 25 miles northwest of Maple Grove and 30 miles southeast of Saint Cloud, Monticello is home to five brick and mortar schools and two nature-based facilities serving more than 4,000 students annually. Monticello consistently ranks in the top 50 school districts in the state as measured by a number of organizations and metrics, and performs above the state average in graduation rates, test scores, and early college opportunities.This position is a day shift / cleaning at Monticello Middle School and Little Mountain Elementary Schedule: 10:00 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. at MMS, 1:40 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. at LMEThe duties of our Custodial staff will include:Provide custodial support for the School District in order to provide a clean, safe and healthy learning environment for students and staff.Qualifications:High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)Considerable ability to follow oral and written instruction, to complete daily activities according to work schedulePrioritize work and perform duties independentlyDriven to meet needs with a positive attitude and in a timely mannerEffective communication and teaming skillsKnowledge of computer and standard applicationsWillingness to be flexible and excellent attendanceMaintain confidentiality of information about studentsExperience working with diverse students and familiesMust be able to lift up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift 75 - 100 poundsHourly Pay Range: $21.05 - $26.93 per the current Custodial Master Agreement 2025-2027Overtime Eligibility: All positions within the Custodial & Maintenance unit are eligible to elect and/or be delegated intermittent overtime assignments.Submit your application online at Monticello Public Schools.
