Adelphi is seeking a qualified per diem Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide student health care support in a school clinic setting located in Cobb County, Georgia. The ideal candidate will assist with routine student health needs, support school clinic operations, and work under the direction of appropriate nursing or school personnel.

Requirements:

• Active CNA credential issued by the Georgia Department of Community Health.
• Must be currently listed on the Georgia Nurse Aide Registry.
• Current CPR/BLS certification preferred.
• Previous school, pediatric, clinic, or direct care experience preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions from school nursing and designated CCSD personnel.
• Ability to maintain student confidentiality in accordance with FERPA requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with routine student health care needs in the school clinic.
• Support students who report to the clinic for illness, injury, or health-related concerns.
• Monitor students and report changes in condition to appropriate nursing or school personnel.
• Assist with basic first aid and comfort measures within scope of practice.
• Support students with mobility, toileting, hygiene, feeding, or other basic care needs when assigned.
• Assist with maintaining a clean, safe, and organized clinic environment.
• Follow Universal Precautions, infection control procedures, and school safety guidelines.
• Help document student clinic visits and services as directed.
• Maintain confidentiality of student health records and information.
• Communicate concerns promptly to designated staff.
• Provide support during early morning or After School Program coverage when assigned.
• Conduct oneself professionally while working with students, families, and school staff.
• Any other duties as assigned.
