Bartender

S&L Hospitality is currently accepting applications for a Bartender for this location's onsite restaurant. Ideal candidates will be able to work during the business hours of the outlet, including having weekend and holiday availability, prior relative experience, highly-motivated, reliable, detail oriented, and a passion for working with people.

Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

• Verifying that patrons are of the legal drinking age by checking their identification in accordance with state/local laws.
• Preparing alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages for bar and restaurant patrons.
• Restocking, replenishing bar inventory and supplies regularly throughout shift.
• Entering orders into bar POS, collecting payments, and balancing cash drawer.
• Maintaining a clean and well-groomed appearance and bar area at all times.

Key requirements/qualifications:

• Ability to lift, push, pull, more than 30lbs, occasionally more than 75lbs.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time and perform repetitive motions, up to majority of scheduled shift.
• Flexible schedule to meet business needs.
• Ability to maintain a composed, gracious and professional attitude.
• Ability to accept criticism and work well under pressure.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently.
• Must be at least 18 years of age or older, in accordance with the property's state/local laws for serving alcoholic beverages.
• Previous beverage service experience is preferred.
• Detail-orientated individual who is able to focus on maintaining a clean and safe environment.
• Ability to maintain and obtain any certifications and licenses for the position.
