The Opportunity

Adobe's 3D & Immersiveorganizationis looking for a Full Stack Software Engineerwith 3D pipeline experienceto join our3DWorkflowsTeam!You will help plan, design, develop, and test software to helpenterprisecustomers get the most out of 3Ddigital twin assetsfortheirweb andecommerce needs.We are looking for aseniorsoftware engineerwith an interest inbuilding 3D content pipelines.

Whatyou'llDo

• Help design,implement, and deploy3D centricwebinterfaces, pipelines, andAPIs used by our customers and by other teams within Adobe

• Develop 3D pipelines tobuildscalable 3D asset workflows that enable enterprise customers to create, transform, review,render, and deliver high-quality digital twin content for ecommerce and web experiences.

• Work with USD scene structures, materials, lighting setups, cameras, references, and variants to support interoperable 3Dworkflowsacross Adobetools.

• Buildhighly durabledistributed systems deployed on Kubernetes and the best tools provided by AWS and Microsoft Azure.

• Ensure our services stay up and are performing at their best by incorporating monitoring and visibility into all parts of our systems.

• Join our multi-functional team of Frontend, Backend and DevOps engineers basedin the San JoseArea

What you need to succeed

• Abachelor's degree in computer science,computerengineeringor a similar specialty

• Experience with 3D graphics production at scale. PhotorealisticVFXproduction.

• Experiencewithassetinterchange formats, andrenderingworkflows including USD/OpenUSD, GLB/glTF, FBX,OpenPBR, Substance Materials, and relatedDCCs.

• Familiarity with USD scene graph concepts such as composition arcs, references, variants, shading/material networks, lighting, rendering, and camera setup.

• Familiarity with USD scripting/programming.

• A passion forlearning and contributing to all aspects of the system: user interface, APIs, persistence,and distributed systems.

• Experience programming in programming language suitedforserver-basedsystems: TypeScript/Node.js, Go, Python and/or C++.

• Experience programming in languageand frameworkssuitedforbrowser-baseddevelopment:TypeScript/Node.js,React, Svelte.

• A desire to collaborate and communicate your technical ideas with the team

Expected Pay Range:

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this positionis $159,200 -- $301,600 annually. Paywithin this range varies by work locationand may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills,and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process. In California, the pay range for this position is $208,300 - $301,600

At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
