Registered Nurse RN Operating Room Service Line Specialist Fulltime Days Responsibilities Work location: Texas Health Southwest Work hours: Fulltime 36 hours per week Day Shift, Call and some holidays are required. Work Environment: Surgery OR Circulating - Collaborates with other team members (including anesthesiologist, surgeon, surgical technologist, etc) to ensure the safety of patients during the operation. Serves as clinical liaison to staff, surgeons and vendors. Promotes engagement through open lines of communication. Organizes face-to-face meetings as needed. Communicates products and services. Completes special projects and events as needed. Actively participates in training, orientation and mentoring of staff members while facilitating education on service line clinical, administrative, legal and financial requirements. Maintains par levels of special equipment and supply orders items specific to service line. Ensures that accurate and timely charges incorporated into service line surgeon preference cards. Works with clinical manager to coordinate capital and non-capital budget needs for service line. Attends and participates in clinical facilitator meetings. Education Nursing Diploma – Nursing (Required or Preferred) Associate's Degree Nursing (Required or Preferred) Bachelor's Degree Nursing (Preferred) Experience 2 years minimum Orthopedic surgery experience (Preferred)

1. Year perioperative services and circulating and/or scrubbing experience (Required)
2. Year OR specialty experience based on specific service line needs (Preferred)

Licenses and Certifications RN – Registered Nurse (Upon Hire Required) BCLS – Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly (Required) Skills A high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a fast-paced environment.
