Job Summary:
Respiratory Therapist Registered (RT PEDS) in Painesville. This position involves providing specialized neonatal respiratory care within a Level 2 Special Care Nursery, supporting deliveries and respiratory needs of both mothers in postpartum and infants in the nursery. The role requires proficiency in advanced neonatal respiratory procedures and protocols.

Job Details:

• Location: Painesville, Ohio
• Schedule: Night shifts, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Certification as a Respiratory Therapist Registered (RT RRT), valid licensure in Ohio, at least 2 years of experience in neonatal respiratory therapy, and current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a Level 2 neonatal nursery and proficiency with electronic medication administration systems
• Additional Information: Will work in a neonatal intensive settings covering deliveries and respiratory requirements of post-partum mothers and infants in a specialty care nursery. Responsibilities include aerosol therapy, patient education, medication administration, suctioning, manual ventilation, intubation assist, assisted ventilation, surfactant administration, blood gas sampling and interpretation, humidified therapy, and use of various respiratory devices and protocols
