We offer steady miles, a team that looks out for you, and a clear pay structure that rewards safe, experienced drivers.PAY COMPENSATIONMileage Pay (based on verifiable experience)Starting rate (0-2 years) — $0.54 per mileExperienced rate (2+ years) — $0.56 per mileQuarterly safety bonus — +$0.04 per mileTotal with safety bonus — Up to $0.60 per mileMileage is calculated on practical Zip-to-Zip miles (not hub miles). Pay increases take effect the week following your hire date anniversary.Dry Van – RegionalFreight Type: Dry freight onlyRoutes: Regional, traveling 400–500 miles from Wooster, OHRestrictions: No East Coast lanes, no long-haul lines, no touch freightCompensation: $1,350 minimum potential per week, with opportunity to earn moreBenefits:Paid orientationWeekly home time$1,000 transitional bonus paid over first 2 weeksAdditional Pay for all Driver TypesAdditional stop payShort haul loadsDetentionDriver unload / assist unloadHazMat loadsHoliday payTrailer spotting / extra drop hookBreakdown payOther Benefits:Medical, Dental, and Vision coverage401(k) retirement planPaid vacation:1 week after 6 months of employment1 additional week after 12 months3 weeks after 7 years4 weeks after 15 years8 paid holidays per yearWMW covers the full cost of your initial HazMat certificationAll hourly work paid as straight timeWeight ticket reimbursements at face valueEquipment:Our International LT trucks come fully equipped with a microwave, refrigerator, TV, premium drivers seat, and an auxiliary power unit (APU) for your comfort on the road.WHAT YOULL DOOperate Class A tractor-trailers to transport freight, general commodities, and specialized cargo.Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections; report defects, accidents, or violations promptly.Load, secure, and inspect cargo; follow special handling procedures for hazmat or temperature-sensitive freight.Maintain accurate HOS logs and all required DOT/FMCSA documentation.Verify bills of lading, collect signatures/receipts, and ensure all paperwork is complete and correct.Plan routes and schedules to meet pickup and delivery windows.Perform basic vehicle maintenance (fluids, minor repairs); keep trailer clean and ready.REQUIREMENTSValid Class A CDL — required.HazMat endorsement preferred not required.High School Diploma or GED.TWIC card preferred not required.Must pass and maintain all DOT/FMCSA physical requirements.WHAT WERE LOOKING FORReliable, accountable, and safety-conscious — you take this job seriously.Strong time management — you plan ahead and meet your windows.Clear communicator — professional with customers and easy to reach by dispatch.Team player — respectful, cooperative, and positive on the road and in the yard.This job description is not an exhaustive list of all duties.
