Job Summary:
The outpatient clinic nurse position is located in san francisco, California. Candidates must possess a valid California Registered Nurse (RN) license and bring their license on the first day. This role involves providing specialized outpatient pain management care, performing various regional anesthesia procedures, and managing complex chronic pain cases. The position requires a minimum of two years of RN experience, with a focus on acute care, procedural sedation, and outpatient clinic settings.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days, 8 hours shift, minimum 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid California RN license, American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications, at least 2 years RN experience in acute care or procedural sedation, BSN degree, experience with Epic Electronic Medical Record (EMR), strong familiarity with outpatient pain procedures, including nerve blocks, epidurals, radiofrequency ablation, and infusions
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in outpatient or ambulatory clinics, trauma level experience, teaching hospital experience, proficiency with Cerner EMR, trauma level experience as indicated in submitted profiles
• Additional Information: The position is located at a clinic specializing in chronic pain management, utilizing fluoroscopy and ultrasound-guided procedures, with staffing supported by RNs, medical assistants, and radiology technologists. The role entails performing pain procedures such as epidurals, nerve blocks, ketamine and lidocaine infusions, and other advanced interventions. Candidates should be able to wear lead aprons for up to 8 hours daily. Reassignment to other departments or facilities within a 75+ mile radius may occur as needed.
