Associate Roadway Engineer

Job Description Parsons is hiring an Associate Roadway Engineer in San Diego, California. Responsibilities Assist with development of geometric design of highways and roads including horizontal and vertical geometry, cross sections, super-elevations, gore details, vertical clearance calculations, and grading plans; may perform material quantity takeoffs, estimates, and surveys. Use design software to implement project designs. Provide input and technical guidance to CAD designers, drafters, and other engineers working on the same project. Perform other responsibilities associated with the position as may be appropriate. Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Civil Engineering. Some related work experience and/or internships required. Engineer in Training (EIT) Certificate preferred. Basic process engineering knowledge and working knowledge of CAD and other PC software packages typically used in engineering. Strong communication skills; ability to communicate effectively both written and orally with engineers and clients. Security Clearance Requirement None. Salary Range $26.59 - $46.54 per hour.
