Patient Service Representative (PSR) - NeurologyHourly Pay Range: $18.38 - $26.65 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.Position Highlights:Location: 1200 S York Street in Elmhurst and 303 W Lake Street in AddisonFull Time: 36 hours a weekOffice Hours: Rotating shifts Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, 7:45 AM - 4:15 PM, and 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM. No Holiday Eves, On-Call, or Rotating Weekends.Required Travel: This role includes some travel to other locations and requires flexible hours to meet operational needsWhat You Will Do:Under general supervision and according to established policies and procedures, provides front desk coverage. Answers incoming calls, schedules appointments, greets patients, registers new patients in EPIC, schedules laboratory and off-site diagnostic tests requested by physician, verifies insurance eligibility and interprets covered benefits. Processes patient charges by totaling fees, applying insurance coverage, calculating adjustments, and receiving and recording payments in computer system. Clinic set-up and other office support.What You Will Need:High School Diploma or GED requiredKeyboard and computer skillsA valid driver's license is required if the incumbent is selected to perform related duties at an off-site location.
