Pay Rate: $55.00/hour on W-2

Contract Duration: Initial four-month contract

Location: 951 SanDisk Drive, Milpitas, CA

Work Schedule: Hybrid—three days per week onsite

Candidate Location: Candidates based in the San Francisco Bay Area are strongly preferred.

Position Overview

The Senior Technical Recruiter will play a critical role in attracting and hiring top technical talent. This individual will partner closely with hiring managers to understand business needs, develop effective recruiting strategies, and manage an efficient and inclusive interview process. The successful candidate will have extensive experience recruiting for complex technical positions, including potentially senior leadership and executive-level roles. This position requires strong sourcing expertise, the ability to engage passive candidates, and experience managing a high volume of requisitions in a fast-paced environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Lead strategic intake meetings with hiring managers to understand business needs, technical requirements, candidate profiles, and hiring priorities.
• Translate complex technical requirements into effective sourcing, screening, and recruiting strategies.
• Develop and post compelling technical job descriptions designed to attract highly qualified talent.
• Source and engage passive candidates through personalized outreach using LinkedIn Recruiter and other sourcing platforms.
• Review technical resumes and conduct pre-screening calls to evaluate candidates' skills, experience, qualifications, and overall fit.
• Recruit for complex technical positions, including specialized, senior-level, and potentially executive-level roles.
• Manage a large requisition workload—potentially 50 or more open positions—while meeting service-level agreements and hiring deadlines.
• Maintain organized and accurate recruiting records and provide hiring managers with timely status updates.
• Partner closely with hiring managers and cross-functional stakeholders throughout the recruitment lifecycle.
• Deliver an efficient, inclusive, and positive interview process.
• Champion the candidate experience from initial outreach through offer and onboarding.
• Promote the employer brand and position the organization as a destination for high-caliber technical talent.
• Track recruiting activity and key performance metrics to ensure alignment with established KPIs and SLAs.
• Remain current on emerging technologies, semiconductor industry trends, talent availability, and competitive market conditions.
• Lead or support recruiting projects and process-improvement initiatives designed to increase efficiency and impact.

Required Qualifications

• At least 10 years of experience as a technical recruiter in fast-paced, high-volume environments.
• Proven success recruiting for complex and highly specialized technical positions.
• Experience recruiting for semiconductor industry roles or similarly specialized technical fields.
• Experience supporting senior leadership or executive-level searches.
• Ability to understand technical requirements and convert them into effective sourcing and screening strategies.
• Demonstrated ability to manage up to 50 or more requisitions while meeting SLAs and providing timely updates.
• Advanced passive-candidate sourcing and engagement expertise.
• Hands-on experience with LinkedIn Recruiter and other modern sourcing platforms.
• Familiarity with modern applicant tracking systems and recruiting technologies.
• Strong relationship-management and consultative partnership skills.
• Ability to influence and advise hiring managers and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Excellent organization, prioritization, written communication, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in the Milpitas office three days per week.

Education

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
