CT Technologist – Temporary Position

Temporary Coverage: September 1, 2026 – Approximately November 10, 2026

Eastern Carolina Medical Center is seeking a skilled and compassionate CT Technologist to provide temporary coverage for a team member on maternity leave. This position is ideal for an experienced CT Technologist who enjoys working in a patient-focused medical practice and is looking for a short-term opportunity.

Position Overview

The CT Technologist will perform CT imaging procedures while providing safe, professional, and compassionate care to patients. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of medical terminology, diagnostic imaging, and patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare patients for CT imaging procedures, including proper positioning and ensuring patient comfort.
• Operate CT equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
• Follow appropriate aseptic and safety techniques to maintain a clean and safe environment.
• Assist with urgent patient care needs as appropriate.
• Maintain accurate documentation of imaging procedures and patient records.
• Collaborate with physicians, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals to support quality patient care.
• Follow current imaging protocols, safety standards, and best practices.
• Maintain knowledge of current CT imaging technology and techniques.

Requirements:

• Current certification as a CT Technologist.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology and diagnostic imaging.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, patient-centered medical office.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to providing compassionate, high-quality patient care.

Schedule: Monday or Tuesday only
Pay: From $35.00 per hour
