Electronic Test Tech

We are an innovative electronics manufacturer seeking detail-oriented, technical problem-solvers to join our Engineering and Production Quality team. We currently have openings for both a Test Technician and a Senior Test Technician. Candidates will be placed according to their background, technical expertise, and years of experience. • Execute functional, bench, and environmental testing on printed circuit board assemblies (PCBAs) and electronic systems.

• Set up standard lab diagnostic tools, including oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, power supplies, and signal generators.

• Accurately record quantitative test data, logs, and Pass/Fail results.

• Perform basic component-level troubleshooting on failed units.

• Assist engineers with wire harness fabrication, minor rework, and test bench setups.

salary: $60,000 - $85,000 per year

Responsibilities

• Power & Signal Analysis: Measuring voltage drops, signal integrity, current draw, power efficiency, and frequency responses.

• Electrical & Electronics: Multimeter operations, circuit troubleshooting, soldering, wiring harness repair, relay/switch testing, and board-level inspection.

• Test & Measurement Instrumentation: Oscilloscopes, digital calipers/micrometers, torque wrenches, pressure gauges, spectrum analyzers, and signal generators.

• Troubleshooting & Failure Analysis: Diagnose root causes of failed components or unexpected test anomalies and collaborate with engineering to implement fixes.

• Equipment Maintenance & Calibration: Maintain, service, and regularly calibrate testing instruments, lab tools, and diagnostic hardware.

• Soldering & Rework: Surface-mount technology (SMT) and through-hole soldering, desoldering, lead-free PCB rework, and wire harness assembly.
