Job Description Triage – Registered Nurse (RN) Location: Bohemia, NY Hours/Days: Monday‑Friday, 8.5‑hour shifts Responsibilities Create individualized care plans for patients under your supervision and care. Possess strong critical thinking skills to evaluate patient symptoms rapidly and make informed decisions about care priorities. Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to share expertise and knowledge. Convey information clearly and compassionately. Provide supportive resources to patients and families to promote a positive outlook. Teach patients and families about treatment expectations. Watch and record the patient’s progress on a constant basis. Chart the patient’s response to treatment and medication. Complete MAR after treatment. Provide the patient with discharge instructions specific to the patient and emergency numbers after care. Complete injections. Qualifications Valid New York State RN License. Excellent assessment, communication, and organizational skills. Proficiency with an EMR (preferred). Ability to work prolonged periods sitting at a desk, standing, bending, and reaching. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times. Benefits Salary starting at $48 per hour based on experience. Health Insurance on day 1. Dental, Vision, Life Insurance.
