Club Manager – Food and Beverage Department Location: Andersen Air Force Base, Guam. Mission: Joint Region Marianas (JRM) Warfighter & Family Readiness (WFR) mission is to provide highest quality programs and services to the military community through self-sustainment across all quality of life programs. Responsibilities Plan, organize, coordinate, and administer day‑to‑day and ongoing club operations. Establish operational policies for food and beverage service, operations, and development. Evaluate management, operating costs, item pricing/costing, and maintenance; administer supervisory policies and procedures. Supervise and train approximately thirty (30) employees including Duty Managers; provide direction and ensure full utilization of personnel. Maintain safe work and sanitation practices; supervise ongoing practices and address problems. Work flexible schedule, including split shifts, day or night shifts, plus weekends based on ship port loading and special events. Control financial assets – monitor money, inventories, furniture, fixtures; safeguard and oversee receipts, cash handling, deposits, disbursements, and accountability of funds. Maintain stock levels of food, beverages, paper supplies, equipment, merchandise, and furniture; conduct inventories as required. Issue, receive, and control all cash; read and clear cash registers; prepare daily activity reports and financial statements. Coordinate special functions, set up rooms and personnel, and supervise event execution. Circulate among patrons to assure customer service and enforce established rules and regulations. Assist with coordination, operation, and maintenance of the activity; monitor assigned areas, identify, and resolve problems; perform other related duties as assigned. Requirements Must successfully complete a National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) or equivalent background check upon selection and periodically thereafter. Must have at least 4 years of club management experience. Must be able to supervise a group of both civilian and military personnel. Must make decisions, influence, and work with others to obtain cooperation and assistance. Must present a neat, well‑groomed appearance at all times. Work requires standing, walking, sedentary periods, and light lifting. All selections require satisfactory background and employment reference checks. Males must be registered for or exempt from Selective Service. Selectees must participate in direct deposit and successfully pass E‑Verify. Access to certain federal facilities requires a REAL ID‑compliant driver’s license/ID. Qualifications Applicants must demonstrate experience and knowledge, skills, and ability (KSAs) relevant to the position. Education must be accredited by a U.S. Department of Education recognized institution. Proof of education credentials is required at the time of resume submission. Knowledge requirements include: Standard Club Management and Food & Beverage procedures; general business practices related to operational management of club facilities and equipment. Military Club practices regarding patron entitlements, inspections, sanitation, hours of operation, employee scheduling, assignments, and counseling. Local food and beverage reporting practices and procedures for coordinating activity reports. Administrative methods for operating military club facilities and food outlets, including inspections, handling patron complaints, and cost controls. Organizational workload, procedures, and processing of standard food & beverage and administrative cost controls.
